What data we collect and why
We only collect data that is necessary to run this site and deliver our product to you.
Purchase data. When you buy ASimpleGuitar, your payment and order are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We receive your email address in order to deliver your licence key. We do not store your payment card details — those are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. You can read their privacy policy at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
Email newsletter. If you sign up for our mailing list, your email address is stored by Mailchimp. We use it only to send you updates about ASimplePlugin products. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. Mailchimp's privacy policy is available at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to understand how people find and use this website. This involves the use of cookies and collects anonymised data such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and general location (country level). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data to anyone. The only third parties who may receive your data are Lemon Squeezy (payment processing), Mailchimp (email marketing), and Google (analytics) — and only to the extent necessary to provide their services.
How long we keep your data
Purchase records are kept for as long as required by Norwegian accounting law (5 years). Email newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings.

If you are located in the EU or EEA, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
